About National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET)

1. NEET-UG is a entrance examination in India, for students who wish to study in any graduate medical course (MBBS), dental course (BDS) in government or private medical colleges in India

2. NEET-UG is being conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) from 2019. The test is conducted for admission into Medical, Dental, Veterinary & AAYUSH colleges in several states across India.

3. The Exam is conducted in Single Stage, offline mode only.

4. The seats are reserved for different categories [SC (15%), ST (7.5%), OBC-NCL (27%), EWS (10%)] within 15% All India Quota Seats.

5. All medical & dental Colleges in India have 15% seats reserved as All India Quota & these are filled on the basis of NEET AIQ Counseling.
